technology. back in 1995 our household was the first one to buy landline internet access in our neighbourhood. not because we were in the technology business back then, but because we thought curiousity about the advancements that made everybody anxious needed to be seen without prejudice. this interest lead me to attending business academy for software development and attend all the courses on econometrics and data science at university even before a formal master programme was initiated. after winning two data science hackathons in vienna back to back, I started my professional journey as a data scientist. since then I moved through tasks in AI deployments, project management, engineering and security monitoring.

change // community

I generally try to shape and curate the organizations I am in, because I do have the deep belief that a strong community and shared values do not happen by themselves. as a student representative I organized lectures, events, was the head of our dragon boat team and helped shaped the master programmes from a student perspective. in my current position I am helping shape our organization into a modern, collaborative and digitally sovereign workplace that everyone feels welcome in. in any case, great people around me make all these changes possible.

sharing knowledge, skills and thoughts is the only way organizations and communities may move forward together. I taught in business academies, at the technical university and wrote extensive teaching materials for pluralist economics and created a 12-series video course on how to implement monitoring. even though I did not go on to become a teacher after my studies, I am still grateful for the didactics skills I got to aquire - because enabling your colleagues to learn is a beautiful thing to do.

music // production

at 15 my friends told me that we will all buy instruments and start a band. they never learned their instruments but I stuck with it. as a performing artist I played a lot of the popular venues in eastern austria, from the small cselley muehle all the way up to a halftime show at vienna stadthalle. I also write and produce songs for other artists and collaborate on projects if my time allows for it. I see music as one of the freest forms of expression and I love helping this art form come to life.
